Jim is responsible for overseeing Corporate operations as well as all technical aspects of the company.

Jim as been in the Computer Industry for over 30 years and is recognized in the industry as an Expert in his field. He began his career in 1978 in the US Marine Corps working on a wide range of information systems and IT development projects. 

Upon leaving the Marine Corps as an Electronics Engineer, Jim began his private sector career as a Field Engineer, advancing to the western regional technical support position with Intergraph Corporation - at the time the leader in the computer graphics industry.

Based on his reputation as an expert trouble shooter in both hardware and software, Jim was aggressively recruited by Solid Systems CAD Services,  a premium provider of third party maintenance for medium to large scale computer systems,  providing services to some of Americas largest corporations.  Jim established and managed their west coast operations and was a key player in their west coast expansion.  Solid Systems continues to utilize Jim's expertise  for their Northern California support contracts.

In 1996, Jim began doing independent computer service in his spare time for small business and home users. With a customer base quickly growing, he established "The Computer Guy" and eventually was incorporated as The Solano Computer Guy.  Jim and Tracy, along with their dedicated staff have continued to build the business into what it is today.

Jim is a native Californian, married with 3 daughters and 1  grandson.  In his spare time, Jim and Tracy  renovate homes, visit with friends and family and enjoy life.
